Knowledge Building & Critical Thinking

During the Dino project the students have to show what they have learned by reproducing in only one task and that is when completing the downloaded research reports. In all the other tasks they have to move beyond reproducing what they have learned to building knowledge through interpretation, analysis, synthesis, or evaluation.

And that ist for example when they

  • search the Internet for dinosaurs with special characteristics and then design dinosaur profiles, 
  • write reports about their experiences with the dinosaur project or 
  • produce a dinosaur film together with their headmistress and their e-learning tutor.
